MTVarts proudly announces the cast for September’s artsIQ production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid JR.” Following a weeklong theatre workshop under the coordination of Christan Sears and Caroline Pletcher, actors auditioned for director Bruce Jacklin, stage manager Serra Barrett, choreographer Anthony Ingham, music directors Corey Strinka and Laura Ackert, and acting coach Christopher Hartman. The workshop also featured instructors Mary Harris, Kerri Mahan, Alex Thompson, Kelly Lauth, Allison Smith, Kurt Mueller, and Mason Mickley. Jack Davis and Jaxon Reed helped facilitate the workshop. Special thanks to Sylvia Cook and First Church of the Nazarene for donating the use of their Family Life Center and education facilities.
