CLASS: Master Class with Lionel Walsh & Christopher Hartman (Adult/Ages 18+)

DESCRIPTION:
This course will be a hands-on approach to the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique, led by Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium Founder and professor of Acting in the School of Dramatic Art, University of Windsor, Lionel Walsh. Students should come prepared to move around the space as their bodies allow them. Actors should enter into the space with a positive attitude and a willingness to share their art. Class dates are October 25th-27th.

DESCRIPTION:
This course will be a hands-on approach to the Michael Chekhov Acting Technique. Students should come prepared to move and walk around the space as their bodies allow them. Students will be given a minimal amount of lines on the first day of class that they will be using throughout the course. Actors should enter into the space with a positive attitude and a willingness to share their art. Ages 18+. Class will meet for 1.5 hours Monday-Friday from 6-7:30 PM, October 28th-November 1st.

CLASS: Theatre of D&D

DESCRIPTION:
Explore the basics of how to approach character and storytelling through the hit tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. This class will focus on the joy of theatre as well as the tabletop game experience. We welcome both beginners and veterans to the theatre and D&D experience! Monday-Friday (5:45-7:45), November 4th-November 8th. Ages 12-18.
CLASS: Theatre Basics (Preschool)
INSTRUCTOR – Christopher Hartman

TIME – Saturdays, 9-9:45 a.m.

DESCRIPTION:
This class will introduce preschool age students to the joy of theatre with games, songs, and playful activities to improve confidence, collaboration, and comfort on stage. Ages 3-6. Class will meet from 9-9:45am on Saturdays for four weeks: Nov. 2nd, Nov. 9th, Nov. 16th, and Nov. 23rd.

CLASS: Set Design
INSTRUCTOR – Bruce Jacklin

TIME – 4:30-5:30 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:
This course will focus on the creative process behind set design and creation from the creative mind to the stage. Students will learn the process of designing scenery for a particular play and put it to action on a smaller scale. Ages 12-18. Classes will be 1 hour Monday-Friday from 4:30-5:30pm. November 4th-November 8th.
Minimum registration: 8
