CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Year-long programming for MTVarts builds on the organization’s mission to offer diverse, educational, and enriching opportunities in the performing and visual arts. Classes and workshops focus on specialized skills such as directing, stage makeup, and audition techniques, alongside foundational courses like acting, theatre basics, and vocal training. Classes will cater to a wide range of age groups, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
Dance Workshop

A New Rhythm at MTVarts: Dance Classes with Kenyon Dance Where Artistic Excellence Meets Community.
Our Kenyon Dance Student Lead Classes will be taught by Ella Neely and Cora Checkovich
Day: Monday
Dates: March 16 – April 20
Times: 6pm to 7:30pm
Ages: teens (ages 14 and up) and adults
Cost: $95
Where: Kenyon Bolton Dance Studio

Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or returning to a lifelong passion, these classes are designed to inspire, challenge, and energize dancers of all experience levels. Participants can expect professional instruction, a welcoming environment, and a chance to grow both technically and artistically.
Spots are limited, and classes start Monday, March 16. To sign up please enroll in the parent portal.

Summer Workshop

This workshop will take place in the Hill and Bolton Theaters on the Kenyon College campus.

NOTE: Those interested in auditioning for the artsIQ production of “The Wizard of Oz” must be ages 12-18. Ages 9-12 may audition for the roles of munchkins/Ozians only.
